Our Nordic Pale is a soft and floral pale ale. Fermented at higher temperatures using hornindal Kveik yeast results in a slight farmhouse character and fruity esters that work well alongside the citrus and tropical fruit forward hops.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My first beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery.

Pretty solid beer. Pours a Yellow orange cream color. Lots of foam. Partial foam head stays for the entire drink. Lacing is fine. Smell is of light citrous peel. Taste is similar. Some orange citrous rind taste. Floral notes to its taste and smell.
Some bitterness on the after taste. Solid beer and worth a try. I like WoodHouse in general.

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 5.2%.
I didn't like the color of the can Pink right from the start .
Poured into glass with a 2 finger head hazy lemon lime and orange zesty with a medium bitterness level. Smell is good
Easy drinking
Good beer.
Overall a good pale ale all the way through leaving a lace as you drink nice flavors and smell.
Cheers

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jun 1 2022 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a turbid pale golden colour, producing two fingers of puffy, foamy white head that collapses within three minutes or so. A sudsy collar and patchy, filmy cap live on, with a lovely curtain of delicate lace splattered against the glass - looks nice enough to me, but it's not especially aromatic. I'm getting hints of lemon, berries, and piney, herbal hops, as well as a wisp of wheatiness.
The flavour profile is appealing, with a lemon-lime vibe that superficially reminds me of Sprite at first (not as sweet, but very fizzy). Gritty, grainy wheat and oats, with suggestions of melon rind followed by herbal, piney, somewhat grassy hops on the tail end; fruity aftertaste that dries out completely. Light in body, with aggressive carbonation that assaults the palate relentlessly, especially early on - pretty annoying to be honest, frothing up in the mouth and limiting its drinkability to an extent. It settles down over the course of the glass, making for a more enjoyable quaff over time.
Final Grade: 3.54, a B grade. While Woodhouse's Nordic Pale Ale is serviceable and probably worth a try, I don't think it's worth going out of your way for. Not quite on par with their APA and IPA, at least IMO - I suppose they're all serviceable, to-style, unspectacular pale ales that I don't mind returning to occasionally. In all fairness, I've tried a decent number of these kveik pale ales and haven't been blown away by any of them, so maybe they're just not my thing?

Not much I can say that hasn’t been said, it’s pretty straightforward: this is part of a trend of beers that add some sort of country to their style, Italian Pilsners, Nordic PAs, it’s all fine if there’s something that substantially backs it.
The Kviek yeast would’ve been great if it came through a little more. I get it a bit at the back end with some fresh hop bitterness. With the haziness and unfiltered nature of the beer it would’ve been great to mix the yeasty notes in, and with the high adjuncts on this beer it would’ve been possible.
Piney and fruity hops on this one. Tastes like a mix of an IPA and a PA. I suppose PAs border that line occasionally. I do like the drier nature of this beer

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for around $3.50 per can. Canned May 8, 2022.
Appearance - Hazy, yellowy gold brew with a finger and a half of fluffy white head. Lots of bubbles and above average staying power.
Smell - Kind of leafy with some tropical notes added. Orange is most prominent of the tropical aromas.
Taste - Citrus with orange and grapefruit. Some leafy undertones. Lacking sweetness and juiciness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, quite fizzy and lacking juiciness. Pretty dry if anything on the finish.
Overall - It's fine a as Nordic or American Pale ale, but there's an element to well hopped hop water here too. Decent enough but not a repeat purchase.

Comes across as full on meh. I like this style in general, but this one is too weak kneed and anonymous. Soft pale gold, moderate head. Not quite hoppy and fruity enough. Soft mouthfeel. Missing some assertiveness (no, not looking to get punched in the face by hops). Just evenhanded across the board, bordering on blandness.
