Very Good
Notes: It is as if the glass was filled with flutes, fiddles and uillean pipes, this Red Ale is a staple, just like its Stout cousin, in any Irishman’s glass. Crystal clear with a reddish copper hue. It begins with an initial sweet toffeeness and subtle notes of caramel from its malt backbone.

What happened to TwoDEEP ? Out of business on Untappd and no micro-website. So it requires further research.
But founded seven years ago, they seemed to have an interesting strategy with their own taproom, but relations with other pubs who served food. Seems an interesting way to let others cover the high overhead of wait-staff and cooks. (Indy has more innovation than it is often given credit for.)

As for Red Sunday... I was impressed and I would have it again (but I admit that is easy to say since the micro is a Covid victim.) Red Sunday Looked only slightly above average, but Smells were mostly malt and balanced. Tastes followed. Medium-mouthed, but sufficient bubbles. I enjoyed this with pasta and red sauce... so clearly not too hoppy as this style easily falls into in the U.S.

If anyone has the inside scoop on why a seemingly good strategy failed Two DEEP, let me know.

A - Brown-red body, mostly opaque, with a slight white cast. Some lacing.

S - Malt breadiness, floral hints, but with a definite hit of alcohol.

T - Following that nose, but without the alcohol, and a slight curl of bitterness in that close.

M - Comes across in the open as sticky, but the carbonation and bitter bite clears off the tongue, leaving it clean.

O - A tasty beer. Not necessarily the prettiest, but quite drinkable.
