Had on tap. Brown speckled black body, tan finger of foam with plenty of lacing left behind. Smell and taste are led by the trio of rye, oatmeal and chocolate. Smell has a roasted malt supporting, taste has that plus a hint of creamy vanilla. Feel is frothy and soft with roast and rye shaping after, smooth and warming. Nice work here

Black in color with a fingernail of brown on top. Lots of lacing. I think I smell lactose and black malt or roasted barley. I'm tasting lots of roasted barley with the rye playing second fiddle admirably. The mouth is smooth and creamy. Bravo!

Poured from the tap a dark brown-black with two fingers of tan head. Some sticky lacing left behind.

Aroma of roasted malts and rye.

Tasted of roasted malts, rye, and a decent hop presence with the piney notes.

Light-to-medium bodied and a touch dry with a moderate carbonation.

A nice little stout at 5.5% abv.
