Copper colored with a fingernail of off white on top. Light lacing. The aroma is of pine. I’m tasting light pine and citrus with light malt. The mouth is lightly sticky and resinous.

a solid ipa here, a bit basic, but better than some of their other hoppy stuff i have had, more refined i think than some of them have been, cleaned up, not so hazy and heavy and reliant on dry hopping alone to make it good, more complete and well rounded, and nice on a hangover! its clearer this time around, a brassy golden look to it and a short white head. it smells like a familiar citra and mosaic complexion, fresh though, juicy, oily, and more west coast than east to me. a lightly bready and mildly sweet malt base, simple, pale barley primarily, a slight toast to it and maybe a flash of honey, uplifting though rather than weighty. i get canned pineapple juice, preserved lemon, and green jolly rancher from the hops, real pleasant, mosaic in there i would think for sure, not overly hoppy, mellow bitterness with it, and a hearty but drinkable beer overall that tastes like they are getting it pretty well figured out at modern. i was quite pleased with this as a lunch beer, could have had several, and am happy to see these guys progressing. nothing revolutionary here at all, but a well made ipa.
