The pour is good with an opaque gold color. The carbonation activated hard on the pour but did not produce a thick head. The smell is off on this one it is a very sweet almost chemical smell. Once you get into the taste it gets better. Taste is vanilla cinnamon tart peach finish.
The smell is a distraction to an otherwise fun beer. You can really use different parts of your tastebuds to taste the range of flavors. This was a fun beer to try.

Y'all stingy
16 oz can, no date, poured into EBC Teku.
They did get the cans in the store THAT day, from a brewery IN TOWN, so I assume it's fresh.
Juicy medium orange with a creamy cap of 1 finger, receding slowly with some hilly lace.
Aroma of some urinal cake from the can; from the glass I get urinal cake, faint pie crust, limes, and spice.
Flavor brings sweet and sour peaches, but the sweet is like NutraSweet. So...diet sweet and sour peaches. There is some slight floral chamomile, with some lime and some slight pie crust. I don't get much in the way of vanilla, cinnamon, or apricots.
Feel is slick and smooth, moderate prickly carbonation, slight alcohol heat, and a tart acidic prickle on the finish.
Overall, I was hoping for more here and was a bit disappointed. It's not a bad sour, in fact it drinks pretty quickly. This is more of a straight forward peach lime sour than anything. Peach Pie is not what comes to mind in this beer.
Price paid : $15.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : no

Hazy gold to amber. Slightly funky tart smell that blends in surprisingly well with the warmth of malt, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon, plus stone fruit and a bit of banana. The vanilla really shows up in the flavor. The cinnamon, while rounded off, also contributes a good deal. Banana and stone fruit sit on top of biscuity malt. There's a light astringency but otherwise low bitterness in general terms, though not for a sour. The vanilla nd cinnamon must contribute to this. Carbonation is moderate as is mouthfeel. Kudos to Modern for brewing something so interesting, and for pulling it off really really well.
