16 oz can, poured into Calusa snifter.
No date.
Has a nice deep chocolate bear brown body with a creamy brown sugar colored head of 3 fingers. Very nice lacing as it recedes.
Aroma from the can is earthy, with some ash and slight clean water. Aroma from the glass brings chocolate, earth, marshmallow, and graham.
Flavor is ashy and earthy with streaks of sweet caramel and bland marshmallow here and there. The ash tray really takes over the beer. There is dark chocolate underneath all of that, but far overshadowed by the earthiness and ashen profile. The one thing it does have going for it is cleanliness. It feels clean, and each of these flavors is clear as a bell.
Feel is carbonated, slick, medium plus bodied, with some alcohol heat poking up at the end and some resins clinging to the roof of the mouth.
Overall, not a fan of this one. Too ashy, could use a lot more sweetness or at least some balance. Tastes a bit like dirt.
Price paid : $3.19 / can

This is a very drinkable and fun stout. Smell and taste match the described "S’More’s Inspired Stout". The taste of Graham Cracker shows itself nicely without getting in the way.
