A delicious blend of our favorite barrel-aged imperial stouts aged 14-30 months and finished on Ugandan gold super prime vanilla beans, TCHO Ghanian cocoa nibs and toasted coconut to our taste.

Phenom! My second 12 oz. can from these characters. And thanks to Grandy33 for tippling this my way.
Deadass black. Coconut & coca roars into the nostrils.
Ohhh! Big Stretch! is rife with every ingredient etched into the label. Sweet but bitterly biting cocoa boasts up front, followed by a blast of bourbon that ignites into an inferno of booziness that outstrips the ABV. Wow that was pretentious. Coconut is wound in nicely & the vanilla isn’t prominent but likely contributing to the higher level sweetness. Pretty heavy. The serving size is enough.
The bland description belies that all of this is integrated to an exquisite level. If not for the heaviness factor, this would be a grand slam. As is, an excellent brew.

This pours a very dark black color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.
This smells very strongly of toasted coconut, caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted malt, cookie dough, and oaky spice.
This has a very decadent and sweet coconut profile, but the barrel is still there, and still very prominent. So many barrel aged stouts these days are just too weighed down with cloying sludge. You most certainly know that they used a truckload of coconut here, but you also know that they procured high quality barrels and you can actually taste them. There’s oak, bourbon, and bittersweet caramel, with tons of coconut and vanilla, and it all melds super well.
This is thick, creamy, and rich, but too not too sweet, cloying, or boozy.
I’ve heard a few rumbles that this was a great brewery, and I’m happy to have finally tried them.
