poured from a 12oz can into a TG DBA tumbler. pours a shiny black with a finger of mocha brown foam head that quickly fades to a semi-thick collar around the rim of the glass. aromas of chocolate, bourbon and coconut. neither one necessarily leads the way but it’s an amazing aroma coming from the glass. taste steps it up with chocolate-covered coconut balls dipped in chocolate. confectionary perfection but it never gets sugary or artificially sweet. the coconut seems more in the forefront than what the nose would lead you to believe but it goes so well with the bourbon barrel-aged chocolate-forward base stout. incredibly full mouthfeel. this is top notch stuff.
