Exhibiting Dark Red Hues and a thick meringue like head, the Quad is medium bodied and delivers an impressive 11% ABV. While the alcohol level may be big, our proprietary Belgian yeast strain produces a smooth, rich product without any trace of harsh off flavors sometimes associated with high gravity and/or high alcohol ales.

On tap at Fool's Gold NYC.
Thick and chewy-looking raisin-colored liquid. Light head and lace.
Smells of all types of dark fruit: figs, raisin and date with some light vanilla and caramel.
The flavor is initially true to the nose, but develops more of a spiced flavor that takes away from the deeper fruit flavor and malt. I personally prefer less of that spice, especially in a quad.
The feel also reflects some of the spice and distracts from the otherwise creamy, rich and thick body.
The end result is a good beer, but not particularly to my tastebuds as far as quads go.
