When I visited: this past summer with my wife and son, on our summer vacation to Prince Edward Island (Saint-Nicolas was the half-way stop driving back).
What I had:
La Boite à Malt Bitter Juice - Best Bitter (draft)
La Boite à Malt Sombre Hero - Chipotle Porter (sample)
La Boite à Malt Tomahawk - English IPA (draft)
8oz steak with vegetables and tiramisu for dinner/dessert
Overall impression: A good brewpub, we were grateful that La Boite a Malt was close to our hotel on our way back from PEI. Service was warm and inviting and everything arrived at the table in reasonable time. Food was stellar. The Porter left a bit to be desired, but the Bitter and IPA were satisfying. Overall, this place is worth visiting if you find yourself in Levis/Saint-Nicolas.

Typical bistro style with a small lounge and high tables, pretty basic. Around 10 taps, no proper glassware, can't pour a head. Basic service, no knowledge. What is your specialty? Beer. Yes I was answered BEER! I don't feel any passion nor authenticity. The prices are quite high for the low quality craft you get. This place is just a money grab. Some beer related food, looks alright but didn't try. I can't recommend this place, very disappointed.

Great choice of brews but service slow and food portions small and tasted just average
