The Frog & Princess "Raspberry Saison"
€4,50/half pint on tap at the brasserie on 21 June 2018
Notes: Hazy deep-amber/copper colored body beneath a full head of off-white foam. There's more biscuity and caramelish malt to the aroma than raspberry although it's present. The flavor delivers more raspberry, a firm, bready maltiness, a touch of acidity, and a moderate bitterness of @ 12-15 IBUs. Along with the acidity there's enough bitterness to balance it nicely. Saison character is lacking. Medium-light in body and crisp. Refreshing.
