A: Dark, rich copper, definitely more maplely brown than traditional marzens. Quite clear. Minimal head, etc.
S: Dark treacle nose, biscuit malt. Light grass and acorn nuttiness.
M: Mellow, medium body, low carbonation.
T: Caramel flavor made semi-sweet by accompanying floral bitterness. The hop complexity really sets this marzen apart. Grassy roots with a hint of chocolate. It's complex maltiness is highlighted by heavy toastiness.
