Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Hazy yellow in color with a thick white head.

Smell: Earthy and grassy notes with a hint of maple.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth light bodied. Taste of wheat, cloves, and light maple aftertaste.

Overall: Not what I expected, but very good.

Light fizzy head fades quickly, mostly clear slight hazy honey wheat color.

Nose mild maple candy thing, very little wheat, little toasty biscuit, fruity apple, maple apple candy.

Taste mild maple, little maple apple candy again thin watery wheat, touch biscuity dough wheat.

Mouth very thin watery light carb even.

Enjoyed at the brewery.

A - Poured a clear golden hue with no real head or lacing.

S - Aromas of light wheat, super light maple. Very subtle.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, light maple and wheat, like maple spun candy. Really light.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, thin, watery.

O - Overall this beer was rather underwhelming, super subtle on all front.

Serving type: on tap

Always searching for a good maple beer. I feel like beer and maple should make a great team but I have this far been disappointed.

Pours dark, hazy Amber with a white head,

Smells malty with some caramel and maple

Tastes malty sweet but the maple doesn't come through much.

Medium body.

Not too great. My judgment is based off of the weak nature of the maple flavor.

From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on February 21, 2015.

The pour is a cloudy medium amber with a big, foamy white head.

I expected more maple on the nose than I got. Actually I picked up more of a honey ester and it was rather distracting.

Medium body.

The taste brings out the maple a bit more than the aroma suggests but the honey also kicks its way into the picture.

Bottle from the Drinkery
Hazy orange amber color with a smallish white head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of spicy malt sweet fruity sugars light caramel, faint banana and bubblegum . Little to no hop aroma. Lightly sweet fruity maltiness with a touch of maple flavor. Light yeasty esters, little to no hop flavor or bitterness. Medium to thin body light level of carbonation. Somewhat flabby beer, unexciting and unbalanced towards the sweetness. could really use some hops to counter the sweetness.
