Light and crisp session ale brewed with Pilsner base and a blend of Caramel and Vienna malts. Smooth and easy to drink, this California Common has a mild and pleasant hop character that subtly hits you up front and finishes with spicy, herbal, and citrus tones.

On tap at Fat Point. Looks like regular beer. Smells like regular beer. And for people who like American Big Brewery beer, this would be their cup of tea. For me, it's a little bland with an unusual acidic aftertaste.

Look: Slightly hazy orange-brown. Just over a finger of foamy white head with excellent retention.
Smell: Brown bread and caramel sweetness.
Taste: Doughy malt with balancing hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Full, chewy body with good carbonation.
Overall: Despite the lower ABV, this is a filling beer that takes some gumption.

On tap at Sisters.
Served in a Stella glass.
Light amber color. Not much of a head.
Sweet malt aroma.
Caramel taste, a little hint of spice.
Inoffensive, esay-drinking beer.

Gotta grab a local brew while in Punta Gorda, FL.
Pours light and amber, ice cold with almost no head and minimal spots of lace.
Light nose, but caramel and malt come out. Not much else. Very 1-dimensional.
The flavors aren’t awful, and while I don’t drink this session-style steam beer I’m just getting a lightly sweet, malty beer that emerges with notes of caramel and subtle spice.
Light, crisp, refreshing. Medium carb, very subtle bitterness.

This carmel colored light ale has a crispy light feel, but don’t be fooled. It has a pleasant kick and goes down easy. If you like your lagers you’ll enjoy this ale.

Highly recommend the canned version, there's some great art there. Smooth, with a little bitterness & a nice mouthfeel after the fact. I usually prefer darker beers, but I would drink this again. If you're in the area try it.
