Poured from a bomber into a Cigar City snifter.
Thick 2 finger khaki colored head.Brown in color, with moderate light showing through the glass.Moderate amount of fast moving carbonation.
On the nose I get vanilla and pecans, along with some toffee and caramel.
On the palate I get dark malts, toffee, and caramel.Aslo little bit of the vanilla and pecan, but not a ton.
The body is medium / light, with a decent amount of carbonation feel in the mouth.
Overall this is a decent porter.I like mine a little heavier and thicker, but still not a bad beer.

Appearance: Dark cola brown with a fingers worth of quickly disapating head. Light amount of runny lacing.
Smell: Strong aromas of vanilla and pecans with a hint of roasted malt.
Taste: Very similar to the nose with the roasted malt more prevalent.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied and just a tad watery. Adequate amount of carbonation.
Overall: A good beer with good flavor but with a thicker mouthfeel and better head retention this would be a great beer.
