Taster at brewery. Pale golden pour with a spotty head. Minor savory notes in the aroma. Taste continues with floral, herbal, meadow and honey accents.

Slightly hazy light orange with a foamy white head... Perhaps a little dark for a witbier... Nice perfumy coriander and a judicious orange peel hand on the nose.... Flavor has nice wheat flavor and a light tang that hits the spot in the heat.. Pretty impressed with this brewery.

3.75 across the board.

Served on tap in a pint glass

Appearance – The beer is served a hazy golden orange color with a small white foam head. The head fades very fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the beer is big of a citrus and fruity smell of an apricot and peach, with these mixed with some nice spice aromas of coriander and clove. Along with these aromas comes some lighter smells of a grass and hay nature.

Taste – The taste begins with a slightly bready and wheaty taste mixed with a moderately strong yeasty and light spice flavor of coriander and clove. A rather decent fruitiness is present upfront as well, which creates a nice base flavor when mixed with the bready tastes of the beer. Overall the spice remains rather light for a wit, but overall gives a rather nice background flavor to the brew. As the taste advances some light grassy and herbal flavors and a bit of lemon come to the tongue, and end up leaving a rather nice and fruity and lightly spiced wit flavor to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side in terms of its body with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the fruity, wheaty and light spiced flavor of the brew the feel is very nice and creates a very easy drinking feel.

Overall – A quite nice and easy drinking wit that isn’t too spiced and has a nice fruity and bready/wheaty base. A good and easy drinking, rather refreshing brew that would beer fantastic in the summer months.
