The La Niña is the counterpart to our house blonde ale, El Niño. This fruit and spice forward blonde ale is aged on local mango and habanero pepper. You will find it bright hazy golden in color with orange hues and aromas of ripe mashed mango, candied tropical fruit, and subtle spice. Sweet honey laced grain, juicy mango, and a building pepper heat sweep the palate finishing with a tinging spice kick and dry finish.

Looks like fizzy mango juice with light head. Smells like bread and mangos. Taste is awesome. Big mango flavor with a nice spicy kick. The flavors don't feel fake at all. The mouth feel feels very juicy. Probably one of my favorite fruit beers ever.

While this was not my favorite...it was certainly the most interesting offer from LauderAle. The beer poured a cloudy yellow with white head and spotty lace. The scent had mango presence. The taste started sweet then finished with a habanero heat. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was really good....just don't like I could drink much of it.

On tap at the brewery.
Clear golden body with a good head that leaves little lacing.
The aroma is moderately fruity, lightly spicy and sweet with hins of pepper and yeast.
Tasting finds a spicy but not overly hot beer, with the habanero nicely balanced by swet mango. Both of these are present in moderation allowing the base blonde to shine thru.
Smooth, medium body with mild heat.
O: nice use of mango and pepper to craft a blonde ale with substnace and complexity.
