Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a pint glass, this beer draws a clear, medium to dark golden color with a white head that's about an inch thick when first drawn and served that settles eventually to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass along with some small amount of lacing. Aromas of some crisp, bready, grainy, slightly zesty malts and herbal, grassy hops. Has a very similar flavor profile, with some bready, grainy, slightly zesty malts that give way to a nice herbal, grassy hop bitterness. Good balance of flavors. Has a crisp, yet smooth, slightly creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish. Easy to drink in the way well crafted beer ought to be.

Clear shimmering copper with a soft khaki collar.
Smell is bread, nut, toast, corn and grass.
Taste starts toasty, nearing brown ale territory, almost giving off a bit of coffee and chocolate before some more traditional notes of corn and mildly bittering, tongue tingling wood comes in. Still, overall (and reconfirming this on draft at the brewery on July 4th, 2021) it's a bit sweeter than expected, like mulled apple, with a touch of toffee along with the mild toast. It's a little sweetly herbal, like Honey Nut Cheerios.
The crisp medium body has a dry finish.
