Hinging on what's farmhouse and what's bitter, King Tiger's crisp drinkability and hop-forward balance is sure to appease drinkers of both Belgian and IPA styles.
Its bright straw appearance streams with carbonation to fuel a cottony white froth. Its hoppy aromas share grapefruit, herbal and orchard fruit notes. Its underlying malt base is wafer-thin and cracker-like as light honey and bread sweetness carry the hops.
Upon the middle, its fruit and spice balance spring to life with faint orange, apple and lemon although white grapefruit commands the fruit presence. Rising spice balance is firmly of peppercorn, freshly muddled grasses, and a hint of fennel and eventually shifts the palate to the yeast spices and hops.
Its dry finish thwarts and early sweetness and allows for an effortless texture to ensue late. Its sprite champagne mouthfeel keeps the ale medium-light as the moderate bitterness of citrus pith and pine resin extend slightly into aftertaste.

This Saison is rather complex but does not present strong enough attributes to take a higher score. Subtle peppercorn, wheat malt and anise are the most prevalent. Towards the back I get banana, starch, doughy malt, lemongrass, carroway and seltzer water. Very easy to drink it disappeared rather quickly.
