Clear yellow-amber brew with plenty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Lively and sudsy mouthfeel with plentiful carbonation that gives a lift to a very rich beer. Rather sweet and malty in the fashion I remember from the first DIPAs I tried. Flavors of orange peel and mango with pine and resins. While they claim 119 IBUs it's not astoundingly bitter, just massively hoppy.
Some seeds and stems with a mineral finish. So fruity with a moderate but distinct bitter aftertaste. Clean and powerful flavors with the added boost of alcohol. This is one for sipping and savoring. From the 16 oz can picked up at the brewery.

Had on tap. Somewhat cloudy golden body adorned with a lace heavy white collar. Very hop forward in the nose: pine, vegetables, sweet citrus and a hint of booze. Taste has more booze, plenty of hops, but otherwise pretty nondescript. Feel is gateway, more bready than more dipas, thought hops certainly play their role they are not the primary molders of the feel.
