Handsome coppery brew with sticky foam in the wine glass. Not much aroma. Pine and resiny taste. Very dry. Sudsy mouthfeel with an acidic edge.
PIne and juniper twigs and a little cardboard. It's a big Red Ale alright with a dose of bitter hops. This is rather austere for a holiday brew. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Beach Front Liquor in San Clemente.

For 2016's Brew Ho Ho, piney and sticky.... collaboration with Chapman Crafted Ales... big red imperial IPA with Simcoe and Chinook, Red X and Rye malt...
