Appearance - Pours clear and golden orange in color with a white, near two-finger width head. Great retention, eventually settling to a fair layer of suds across the top of the surface. Good lacing, with chunks and small spotting decorating the glass.
Smell - Citrusy, spicy and slightly earthy aroma. Faint caramel character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Non-descript citrus notes, backed by earth and slight spice. Nice caramel malt underbody. The finish is sweet with citrus and caramel and a light pithy bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-to-full body with moderate carbonation. Sits slightly heavy on the tongue before a fairly dry finish.
Overall - Good DIPA. Easy drinker and fair flavor profile, but nothing that really sticks out. I'd drink it if I were at a bar and saw it, but it's nothing I'd go out of my way to get.
