Appearance - Pours hazy and mellow orange in color with a white, near finger width head. Decent retention results in a thin, broken lyer of suds with a thicker ring around the edge of the glass. A few broken lines and spotting make up the lacing.
Smell - Fairly juicy and tropical aroma. Papaya and orange mostly. Maybe even a hint of booze.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mellowed tropical character that hints at papaya, melon and mango while a bit of citrus creeps in by-midtaste with hints of orange and tangerine. Faint caramel malt backbone that becomes more prominent as the brew warms.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Soft, velvety texture with a smooth, easy finish.
Overall - Soft, juicy brew with a good amount of tropical character. A bit more bite would be nice, and the caramel malt is an odd fit, but a solid beer overall.
