Batch No. 2, brewed with Medusa, Ekuanot, Amarillo and Motueka Hops
No canned date, but from the 06/30/18 release?
Appearance - Pours murky and dirty orange in color with an off-white, near two-finger width head. Fair retention before dying down to a thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Not much for lacing save a few broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Interesting aroma. Almost dunkelweizen-like. Orange, banana, caramel, toffee and oat.
Taste - Follows the nose. Very much drinks like a dunkelweizen. Hint of orange with lesser banana and a firm base of toffee/caramel sweetness. Sweet 'candy' malt continues into the finish, then a faint hint of orange pith can be found lingering long into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Smooth, creamy and lightly buttery texture with an easy finish.
Overall - I don't know how to grade this. I actually really like it because I love dunkelweizens, but this is nowhere near what a hazy IPA should taste like.

Love this NEIPA. Rich, buttery, yet slightly funky. Very hazy, with a rich golden amber color. Very little foam and sparse lace. Wish it was a bit more carbonated but the light effervescence gives it a lovely velvety texture. Mildly sweet with citrus notes.
