Pours a clear golden amber with a lovely column of foam in the Zunft Kölsch glass. Some malty warmth and actually a fairly sturdy body. Carbonation is sprightly. Crisp with the Euro-tasting hop flavors, though not the perfumey taste of many others. A little bitter for a Kölsch.
Aromatic with straw, bread, and green tea. Tastes of grain with light resins Clean and lean, this is a delicious "West Coast" version of the German classic. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewery tsting room.
