An IPA is a must in any breweries repertoire and the Climb High steps to the plate to fill the niche. With 75 IBUs and 7.3% alcohol by volume this beer doesn’t crack under pressure. A mildly sweet malty base supports the high level of bitterness, while a generous late boil Cascade addition and gentle level of dry hopping provide the perfect blend of floral aroma and fruit flavor. This beer is a certain hit with any IPA fan.

I'm surprised this brewery and beer were not reviewed here by me at least as I've had it several times but I guess never at home near the keyboard.
It is a pretty, deep, amber beer, throws a tall, white head that has great legs and visible carbonation bubbles.
Yes, a clear IPA these days is both admirable and noteworthy.
Aroma sets the stage for a classic type, old school IPA - lots of conifer and wildflowers under a firm malt base of caramelized grain sugars.
The flavor follows with medium bodied malt balanced well by a resinous bite of earthy hops, hints of citrus and apple, finishing with a long pine and grass hop bite.
A highly drinkable, real- deal IPA that you can see through.

On-tap at 2 Way Brewing Company, Beacon, NY

A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color. It poured with quarter finger off white head in color that died down and left only narrow a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of caramel malts and hints of citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T :The taste follows the smell and is mostly dominated of flavors of caramel malts. There is only a light amount of hop bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but lacks the hop flavors and bitterness in most IPAs.

Appearance: orange in color with a nice 1" head. Some spotty lace develops.

Smell: orange and some earthy bitterness comes through to the nose.

Taste: caramel, orange, and some earthy bitterness are the main flavors.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Crisp throughout.

Overall: a mild mannered IPA that is easy to drink.
