Roasted malt and Caramel flavors dominate the nose and taste. This porter finishes with a dry maltiness. We added a bit of molasses to enhance the flavor and complexity.

Had at Hyde Park Brew Fest along with too many other beers to give a long review. But this was a good porter. For my primary test which was most of the bite/dryness came from the roasted malts rather than the easy method of bitter hops. In fact, this porter was interesting enough that I think I'll go visit them in the South Loop.
