Although I have not had to many maple beers, this is by far the best one I have had. Definite maple in the aroma and taste but it doesn't overwhelm you. Like frosting on cake, maple adds to the beer flavor with this Fall Maple Ale. Worth the try.

Poured a clear reddish brown body with one finger of off-white head. Overall impression of appearance is of a nice darker ale. Scents of maple syrup and doughy pancakes. Overall impression of flavor is of an interesting ale, showcasing a unique aroma profile that is quite pleasant. Flavor begins with a strong flavor of maple syrup with a light roasted and toasted malt bitterness providing balance. Middle provides flavors of maple syrup, toasted malt and pancake batter. Finish is sweet with maple syrup balanced by a moderate toasted malt and light notes of chocolate. Aftertaste is toasted malt and maple syrup. Overall impression of flavor is of a wonderfully unique beer with a great array of sweet and toasty flavors. Mouthfeel is full bodied and sticky with medium-light carbonation. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of nice ale. Overall this is an excellent specialty ale. It has a great aroma and flavor that is backed by a solid mouthfeel that makes this a joy to drink. It is unique and well executed.
