Poured a deep, cloudy golden body with one finger of creamy white head. Overall impression of appearance is of a very nice IPA. Scents of tropical fruit giving mango-like aromas and sweet fruitiness with the distinctive fruity, peppery aroma of habenero and light vegetal hops. Overall impression of aroma is again, a great showcase of the added ingredient backed by a solid IPA. Flavor begins with a nice fruity, peppery habanero that is nice and warming without being too hot with a nice fruity tropical fruit and citrus derived from the hops providing balance. Middle continues though gains a slight heat. Finish is medium-bitter fruity, with a light burn and the fruity peppery habanero with some citrusy, piney hops. Aftertaste is light pepper burn, vegetal and piney hops. Overall impression of flavor is of a nice, fruity IPA that is aided by the light heat and vegetal pepper of the habanero. Mouthfeel same as before but with a light heat from the peppers. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of an excellent IPA that uses heat to its advantage. Overall this is a fantastic IPA. It uses the strengths of habanero to aroma and flavor without making the beer too hot, a common pitfall of the style. Very well done.
