Picked this, and a few other bottles, up from the brewery shop after the first lockdown. The bottle seems to have expired unfortunately, JUL21.
The description on the front reads "Morning sunshine" at 5,2% alcohol and "Multicereal Berry Ale". And on the back "Morning sunshine is back by popular demand. Time to wake up with this perfect Belgian summer breakfast beer filled with raspberries & blackberries". Just what I want for my summer breakfasts :-)
Served in my usual Seef tumbler.
Scent is strong on berries with a sour touch.
Colour is an hazy pink amber. Yeast floating around.
Head is wild and slowly disappears.
Flavour is very straigthforward: loads of berries, slight sourness and some malty sweetness in the end.
No real aftertaste, the flavour just slowly waters down. Some fruity sweet breakfast cereals emerge after some time.
How best to describe this? Alcoholized berry lemonade. Thirst quencher, mayby starting from breacjfast, yes.
