A 750ml bottle, bottled on 20th May 2021, with a best before date of May 2026. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: An amber reddish brown colour with a half finger beige head that dissipated quickly while leaving some nice lacing.
Aroma: Tart and sweet, cherry, prunes, red wine vinous, caramel, wood.
Taste: Sour, tart, cherry, red wine vinous, caramel, oak, with a lemon peel finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Quite sour for a Flanders Red, but the aroma and flavours are still pretty good.
