Pours a nice golden color. Somewhat hazy, and murky. The head was minimal, and white.
The nose is a nice funky aroma. Some of the barrel ageing in it, but there's also a fruity aroma mixed in.
Taste really fruity up front, but there's a hint of the barrel ageing on the backside. The two flavors compliment each other well. I also get a hint of the salt in the beer, as well as the lime.
Quite full bodied, even though it's only a 5.5 % beer.
Damn, this beer is a winner. Just very well put together. All flavors just work together so well.
