Hazy, murky, deep purple, large creamy head, looking good.
In the nose: big fruit, smooth, clean, lovely.
In the mouth: Fruity-sweet, mild bitterness, easy going. Citrus, berries, beautiful. Tasty stuff. Medium bodied, light malt, nicely hopped. Good IPA and you can drink it.

This beer pours a bright gold with a large head. The aroma is beautifully juicy and vibrant with notes of guava, pink grapefruit, kiwi, pineapple, and papaya. The flavor leads with a wonderful tropical medley of pineapple. white grapefruit, guava, kiwi, and pineapple, as well as some strawberry and grapefruit peel, and a hint of green tea, with just enough balancing bitterness. The mouthfeel is gentle and pillowy, with soft carbonation. Overall a really lovely beer, with explosive flavor and vivid balance.

L: looks like murky brown tea under a 1" white cap with fair to good retention
S: smells like a fresh mown highway median scented with citrus, melon, ditchweed and tropical fruit
T: Hop flavors dominate featuring citrus and melon. It is mildly sweet up front mellowed by biscuit malt flavors. The flavors are a little murky.
F: very creamy - almost mousse like. The body is medium plus and the carbonation is medium high
O: Has a rustic character and offers a pleasant array of flavors.

From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Murky brown-orange, ok head.
Smell: Slight citrus, slight dankness.
Taste: Citrus, mostly orange juice-like with some breadiness in the finish.
Overall: I like Oliphant a lot, but sometimes the cans are hit-or-miss with me. Zoso gun was quite bad from the can so I didn't review it, Lazerhawke is ok but not nearly as good as on tap. Hopefully they can get a little more consistent on the canning line as 12oz cans are my favorite packaging.
