Schokolade Squishy pours a darker red color, with a small, but long lasting head. Aroma is weak, but some hints of sweet berries. Flavor has a mild creamy choclate base, hints of sweet berries, a bit tart. Good body and feel. Overall, its very nice, not too overpowering, but a nice cholate/berry beer.

Chocolate Squishy. Sour ale with lactose, cherries, cacao nibs and sea salt. 5 % ABV. Oliphant Brewing, Somerset, WI.

Wholly hazed, thoroughly opaque, thickly raspberry-ish coloring, slim pinkish head.

In the nose: It's all there, believe it or not. The cherries and the chocolate. And the sea salt. Not picking up on the lactose, though. All there in an incredible mix.

In the mouth: Sweet cocoa, sour cherries, all at once. Creamy, salty, clean, fun, and refreshing. This is special stuff. (I'm trying to avoid falling back on saying "tasty" or "delicious", but it is.)

Dee-lightful. Fruity, sour, with cocoa flavors lurking just below. Long lasting fruity finish.

Lush. Lovely. I guess I like it.

Pours a nice shade of red. 1 finger off white head, that had decent retention. No lacing on the glass.
The nose is a deep, rich cherry aroma. This cherry aroma is backed up with a hint of chocolate. There's also a hint of the salt , lactose, and vanilla in the aroma.
Taste - The lactose is up front, this is mixed in with the chocolate and vanilla. The cherry hits on the backside with the salt. These flavors all combine to make a very tasty treat.
The body is quite decent. There's a slight tart feeling, but that's mellowed out by the chocolate, vanilla and lactose.
Solid beer. Just damn good, and recommended.
