Pours a clear, cola color with surprisingly fizzy, very short-lived head that again is just like pouring a Coke. While the aroma isn't coming out of the glass in waves, up close it's really nice. Plenty of caramel & toffee notes greet the nose, followed by some underlying roast. Smells very appealing.
Dominant flavors are the reverse of the aroma. Roast dominates the palate, with almost none of the malty sweetness that showed up on the nose. Pleasant level of bitterness, I'm mostly just surprised at how little I'm picking up the malts overall. Feel is lighter and less carbonated than expected.
Overall, this is a well done Baltic Porter that I'd be happy to have in my fridge at all times.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. I have had it before at work as a sample.
This beer pours a nice very dark brown color. The head is a 1 finger head poured into my Oliphant tulip glass. Tan in color. The head retention is not bad at all. There's a bit of clingy lacing on the glass.
The nose is a nice aroma . There's a bit of smoke. There's a bit of a malty sweetness. There's a bit of chocolate, and there's a hint of coffee on the nose.
Taste - Up front I get a lot of malts, and a bit of sweetness from that. I also get some coffee in the mix. On the back it really turns into a dark chocolate flavor, which I'm a fan of.
The body is pretty decent. Not too thick, and not too thin.
Damn good beer overall, and I'm glad that I bought it.

16oz undated can poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp 8% ABV. The beer pours bright medium brown in color with chestnut highlights and light brown head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Minimal lacing. The aroma is deeply roasted malt manifested in coffee and dark chocolate. The taste is semisweet roasty malt with even more cocoa, dark chocolate, cold brew coffee and earthy notes. Mild to moderate bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium plus bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, very good. A very clean, very tasty Baltic Porter.
