Serves to me on draft during happy hour at the brewpub in a pint glass. This beer draws a clear, medium golden color with a bit of a copper hue and a white head that's about 1/2 to 2/3 of a niche thick when first served to me. Head settles to a nice thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some nice foam swirls on the beer's surface along with pretty good lacing on the inside of the glass. Aromas of ripe fruit such as apple, plum, dates an banana along with some peppery spice notes. The taste is pretty much the same, with some caramel malt sweet notes that gives way to the aforementioned fruitiness that seems to be imparted in the flavor profile courtesy of the special yeasts used in this beer. The flavor profile is rounded out with a nice peppercorn spice bite. No real discernible hop presence here. Has a nice crisp and smooth, slightly prickly, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation and a dry finish. A very solid effort here!
