Golden/copper in color. Lovely head and lacing. Nose is barely there. Taste makes the Abv obvious. Good beer not great , but good. I don’t suggest drinking on empty stomach due to high Abv.

A: Excellent hazy dark orange color, almost no head that quickly dissipated.

S: Floral, hoppy, piney, woody. Excellent blending.

T: Follows the nose.

M: Full body, not sticky though. Perfect carb.

O: Very nice brew, I'd drink more if offered, but not seek out.

12 FL OZ can
Served in an IPA glass

This beer pours a brilliant amber color with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that disappears quickly.

The smell is toasted grain with citrus and pine.

The taste is toast up front. Then the citrus comes through. Pine is evident in the finish.

Medium mouthfeel and pretty smooth

It is fairly balanced. The malt is definitely a player with the hops. I can't say that I am a big fan of this beer, but I do not regret purchasing it. I doubt I would do so again though.

Pours a clear dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is a big punch of hops, with tropical fruit notes and pine coming through. Flavor wise, there's a touch of sweet caramel notes in the beginning, which then gets buried in pine and citrus notes, fading to a long lingering bitter finish. Full mouthfeel, with a touch of slickness. The ABV does add some heat in the finish as well. Overall, this is a big, bold beer.

Shimmering honey-amber with no head.

Whoa, this smells like Juju-light, with spicy, pungent and dank yet tropical hops, and a slight burnt rubber edge.

Taste is sharp and bitter but also fruity with a slight heat, bringing orange and Triple Sec via a slick, medium-thin body, finishing semi-wet.

Although my rating seems low, this beer is excellent for the style and price.
It reminds me very much of High Res. The alcohol is present and somewhat overpowering, but the sweetness and hop profile is forward. I appreciate this offering, and I really really love the fact that it's in six packs, and only $10.99.

Well done Platform! Second sixer I've sought out and truly enjoyed!

On tap at brewery:
Pours a lovely DIPA orange; chill haze is obvious, maybe a slight bit once warm. Huge soapy bubbles leave some surprisingly solid lacing.

Nose has a spiced peach impression to me. More generally it's a malty big IPA with a grapefruit pith bitterness I have to search for. The spice seems like it could be alcohol-influenced.

Taste starts out with a nice malt backbone, and that light spice is there. Candied orange to spiced peach (more spice) up front. By mid-palate, the bitterness starts to show first as the rind of fruit, maybe tropical given the maltiness. A slow growth occurs in the bitterness and it gains a pithiness, bringing the grapefruit flavor with it.

This beer is a tad warm in feel, but blends it decently well. Nice medium heft keeps it from being unbearable.

The kind of D+IPA I can still enjoy. It's still a little obvious that there's a high ABV behind this beer, but it doesn't dominate the beer.

This style is entirely in Platform's wheelhouse. Dank. Super hopped. Absolutely excellent. The hop profile comes through beautifully on both the nose and palate.

32oz growler filled at Heinen's in University Hts., Ohio

Growler poured into a tulip. Pours a deep burnt orange with a small off-white head that fades leaving nice retention and little lacing. The aromas are great. Tons of peach and mango. Some pineapple. Very tropical. Sweet caramel malts are there. Flavors match the nose. This is a bitter bruiser. Very bitter, but tons of hop flavor as well. More tropical fruits, which seem to be the star. Malts are there giving this one a sweetness, but the hops still shine. Some resin in the mix. Pine is there in the finish. There's a su tale spiciness in the finish, maybe some black pepper? There's a warmth in the finish as well, but it's not boozy. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's full-bodied with active carbonation. Smooth and easy to drink despite being a huge brew. Dangerously drinkable.

This is an excellent DIPA (Quadruple IPA). It has everything that most hopheads look for. Platform has a winner with this one. They seem to know what to do with hops. Highly recommended and worth seeking out if given the opportunity.

Caught by surprise when I saw this on draft at Platform... Bartender said we made it out on a very good day with it available, so I had to try it. I think it is one of the best Platform beers I have had!

For 11% ABV, you could not tell... Very well hidden.

Hoppy, of course... Supposedly an unreal amount of hops are used that they actually consider it a "4x IPA". It must work, it is far more balanced than most DIPA's I have had and easily the best triple. Usually by the time IPA's get over 9% or so they tend to be driven by sweetness and booze. Not this one!

Excellent beer all around... I look forward to having it again in the future.

Has this on-tap at the brewery. While this beer is officially categorized as a Double IPA, I was told by the server that the brewery thinks of it being more like a triple or even a quadruple IPA due to the sheer amounts of hops they put in this. he said they used numerous hop varieties in this one. This beer is a medium golden color with a bit if an orange/copper hue an a white head that is about 2/3 of an inch hick when first poured and that settles to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass with good lacing. Aromas of some caramel malt sweetness that gives way to huge hop presence. The flavors pretty much follow suit, with a nice caramel malt sweetness upfront that gives way to a nice spicy, citrus, earthy, massive hop flavor. Despite the huge hop presence this beer is not overly bitter, in fact the flavor profile is pretty balanced. Has a crisp, slightly prickly, and also smooth and frothy, slightly oily medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate to heavy carbonation. Very drinkable for an 11.5% ABV beer!
