my first beer from these guys, an absolute monster of an ipa, a whole pint can of this would be a death sentence, or at least nap time, wow. thanks to my buddy for sharing! a light amber colored brew with some density to it, not clear but not intentionally hazy either, a short but lasting layer of white head on it, the nose fills the whole room with pine and weedy dankness, a lumber element, and sharp alcohol, this is big! upon the first sip i am immediately taken by the balance, yeah its a bruiser, but now i get the reason for its color, its got some great and much needed grain support, both in terms of enough body to hold all these hops, and in terms of flavor, where some nutty and sweet depth is really necessary against the oily slick bitter intensity of the hops. the profile isnt wildly interesting or anything, its northwestern, high alpha, and grapefruit forward, not sure what hops they use but simcoe and centennial or columbus wouldnt surprise me. its really pretty alcoholic, and at this intensity i would think intentionally so, i never love that in hoppy beer, but this is robust enough in other ways to handle it pretty well. i am happy to be sharing the can, this is massive. i dont generally love this sort of thing, but i respect this one. just off fully fresh in my experience with some breakdown and light oxidation already happening, but it doesnt detract much as this already sort of has an american barleywine thing going on...

Golden/copper in color. Lovely head and lacing. Nose is barely there. Taste makes the Abv obvious. Good beer not great , but good. I don’t suggest drinking on empty stomach due to high Abv.

A: Excellent hazy dark orange color, almost no head that quickly dissipated.
S: Floral, hoppy, piney, woody. Excellent blending.
T: Follows the nose.
M: Full body, not sticky though. Perfect carb.
O: Very nice brew, I'd drink more if offered, but not seek out.

12 FL OZ can
Served in an IPA glass
This beer pours a brilliant amber color with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that disappears quickly.
The smell is toasted grain with citrus and pine.
The taste is toast up front. Then the citrus comes through. Pine is evident in the finish.
Medium mouthfeel and pretty smooth
It is fairly balanced. The malt is definitely a player with the hops. I can't say that I am a big fan of this beer, but I do not regret purchasing it. I doubt I would do so again though.

Pours a clear dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is a big punch of hops, with tropical fruit notes and pine coming through. Flavor wise, there's a touch of sweet caramel notes in the beginning, which then gets buried in pine and citrus notes, fading to a long lingering bitter finish. Full mouthfeel, with a touch of slickness. The ABV does add some heat in the finish as well. Overall, this is a big, bold beer.

Shimmering honey-amber with no head.
Whoa, this smells like Juju-light, with spicy, pungent and dank yet tropical hops, and a slight burnt rubber edge.
Taste is sharp and bitter but also fruity with a slight heat, bringing orange and Triple Sec via a slick, medium-thin body, finishing semi-wet.
