10oz pour, poured from a growler into a snifter. Pours a slightly hazy straw color, with a half-finger off-white head. Yeast on the nose, with a clean alcoholic nip at the end. Palate leads with white grape and alcohol bite, almost like a white wine, with the blackberry tartness coming through on the back end. Mouthfeel is thin, which suits the beer well. Overall, substantially different from what I anticipated from a "saison". This beer almost tastes more like a dry white wine with a tart fruit kick at the end. Little of the belgian spice or malty undertones I'd anticipate. Probably not one I'd buy again (more a commentary on my tastes than the quality of the beer), but definitely one I'm glad to have tried!
