Golden in color, but darker than typical IPAs. Nose is almost sweet. Head is not there. Very effervescent. Very malt forward. Decent ipa. Better than some.

Hit with Hops and a smooth malty aftertaste. Color was a hazy amber. I found it to be extremely enjoyable for an IPA in a market that tends to be on the too hoppy side. It is a good balance in a good beer, and I hope I can make a beer like this someday.

Appearance: Pulled this can out of the fridge and let it stand for about twenty minutes before opening it: This is a deep burnt orange IPA with a nice thick off white head that’s rocky, frothy and sticks around for a while; the lacing is mild at best, but looks great overall.
Smell: Spicy grapefruit hit your first followed by lemon zest, summer grass and mild floral notes.
Taste: Hoppy quickly followed by malts, which make it pretty balanced; sweet overall and the spices and citrus zest are relatively mild in this IPA, which make it pretty balanced.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied, smooth and you get that pily feeling from hops after a couple of sips.
Overall: This is a well-balanced IPA overall, a great IPA for those trying to get into the style-the hops are rather reserved in my opinion, but none the less a great IPA to drink.
