Pours a honey hue with a slight spiced malt smell. The medium body is rich and balanced. A spiced hope taste upftont, fading into a creamy malt finish. There is a sour note that adds to the complexity of the brew. Very fine beer. I'm thankful the brewery is just down the road

Can states 5.3 abv, 40 IBUs, 5 SRM, and suggests serving 40 - 50 F.
Appearance: Deep yellow gold glass is hazy and holds a full finger of bright white head.
Aroma: Mild cooked corn DMS, bready yeast, lemon grass, mild metallic sharpness.
Taste: Big flavor for a Blonde, sweet balance, wheat and wet grain earthy note, little noble hop bitter gets bigger and a little metallic, a little peppery. Like a Czech Pils gone big. Long smacking sweet finish with a bit of lime rind.
Mouthfeel: Heavy for a Blonde, Medium heavy body with a little chew, frothy carbonation, oily texture.
Overall: An Imperial Blonde? It's almost too generous with everything it brings, and I waiver between hating and loving it. Almost a Tripple profile without the Belgian yeast, goes beyond refreshing and gets into a bit of a meal. Part of me says water it down to a Blonde, part of me says call it a Double Blonde, but looking at the stats on the can, I don't know where it's coming from.
First taste from Shannon, big eye opener, I'll be looking for more.

Shannon All American Blonde — Year Round
Shannon All American Blonde is a light and very drinkable blonde ale. Perfectly balanced with a subtle sweetness and light hop aroma.
