Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy lattice of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of Brett, funk, earth, citrus fruit, citrus juice, and tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour Brett, funk, citrus juice, citrus zest, and tropical fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness and acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a great Brett presence that works well with the hops used in this one.

Pours a very dark and cloudy amber color with a frothy white head that leaves gobs of lacing on the glass. Smell is funky, slightly tart, with a subtle tropical hoppyness. Taste is funky upfront and gives way to a blast of tropical fruitiness. Tart citrus as well. FInishes off with a biscuity malt backbone. Mouthfeel is dry with a crisp carbonation. Overall, a great "IPB". Toolbox knows their way around the funk, and apparently knows their way around the hops as well.

A: Foggy dark amber, 2 finger white head (very fine), decent retention, light lacing
AR: Brett, Pineapple, a little bit of lemon/grassiness, orange zest, some barnyard notes
T: Brett, barnyard notes, orange, slightly bready malt on the finish (reminiscent of hay w/ the barnyard notes intermingling), very light lingering hop bitterness on the finish, hints of orange zest on the finish
M: Dry, medium light carbonation
Thoroughly enjoyed drinking this beer. Could use some increased dry and late hopping to really make the hop aroma and taste punch through and balance the brett. As it is, brett takes the forefront. Will seek this beer out in the future.
