Appearance - Pours slightly cloudy yellowish orange color with decent white head that dissipates quickly to a rocky cap. Spotty lacing around the glass.
Aroma - Getting some mild hops, a little bit of lactose not much vanilla just sort of a bland aroma.
Taste - There is vanilla in this for sure, the sweetness increases as it sits on the tongue. There are no hops, not much else other than vanilla so I guess it hits the mark with it being a lactose vanilla milkshake IPA. It is not super sweet but borderline.
Feel - Creamy smooth feel no bitterness easy drinking.
Overall - Not sure how I feel about this one, I think they hit the mark with what they tried but it does not mean I have to like it. The vanilla is there for sure but it is pretty one dimensional.

Picked up a single 16oz can for $5.99.. probably the most I’ve paid for a single can in awhile, I’ve got high hopes..
Oh shit, canned 11/29/17
Normal pour into brandy snifter, appearance is hazy with a dark gold color murk to it, no real head retention, no lacing either
Aroma is fresh pine with some citrus?? You can tell it was dry hopped but I’m not expecting any vegetation in a milkshake interpretation, no vanilla bean to speak of.. I know the age didn’t help but still don’t understand where the fresh hop is coming from
Taste is light but finally found the vanilla, still a lot of fresh earthiness to it, not much there to comment on
Im sorry but the mouthfeel is disappointing, I can notice the lactose but other then that I’d expect lower carbonation but this is sharp and watery
Overall I’m not very happy, the idea sounded cool but it could’ve had better execution, I know it’s a bit old but that can’t excuse the poor mouthfeel.. don’t let the labeling draw you in.
