Like a pulsing night on South Beach, this dry-bodied double IPA is a burst to your senses! It is packed with piney Simcoe hops, brightened with a healthy addition of Citra hops, and dry hopped with Galaxy.

16 oz can from Tavour. Dark amber pour, haxy, towering head fades to one finger. Strong malty aroma, resinous hops. Taste is more of the thick malts, hints of sweetness, which is quickly oblitetated by the hops. Big, rich malt bomb.

Poured a slightly orange-tinted copper body with very little lace and head. The aroma was harsh citric with some mellow grapefruit underneath. Smooth, clean, mild citric hoppy bitterness and a touch of grapefruit with caramel malt sweetness with crisp clean finish.

16 oz can into tulip. Dated 7/12/18.
Nice cloudy dark amber look. Nose is yeasty fruit. Taste is a little fruit up front then malty ending. Feel is medium. Overall a well balanced beer between hops and malts. I would just prefer more hops. But very drinkable.

16oz can served in a big snifter. 7/12/2018. Given to me by @mr-jj.
Pours murky brownish amber. Small head. Not much carbonation. Smell is boozy, malty, and generically bitter. Pine maybe.
Taste is right in line with the smell. Maybe a bit more fruitiness and a bit less booziness.
Mouthfeel is thick and sticky. Overall, it's not bad.

Murky orange body; thick, frothy head. Pungent, earthy hop presence in the aroma; a bit of lemon and orange. Balanced and subdued light grain taste with fine complementary hop bitterness; elements of citrus rind; mildy zesty citrus flavors. Heavy body; lively and prickly on the palate; balanced between juicy and dry for overall mouthfeel.
This is a fine DIPA, not too bold or in your face with hop bitterness or harsh alcohol notes.

Another day at the Craft Bar, Destin, FL. The Ultramix is nice reddish orange color and wonderful light hop aroma. The taste is just so perfect for an IPA. So smooth and not overly hoppy. So easy drinking even for an 9 percenter. A fine IPA that I will remember for a long time. Outstanding MIA. On draft in a snifter.
