Letra - Cerveja Artesanal Minhota "Berry Boom"
44 cl can coded "Lot/Best before: L. 46/2024 V. 08/2025"
6,72€ @ Letraria Obidos, Portugal
Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy pinkish body is capped by a short head of white that holds surprisingly well for a sour beer. How sour is it? It smells sour, and like berries, but let's taste it and find out for sure ... ... ... I wouldn't call it entirely sour but it is pretty tart. It's mineralish and I think this is a lactobacillus beer. Maybe I'm wrong. The berry-like fruitiness is nice but I can't pick out any specific fruit. It's moderately bitter, if bitter at all, but dry in the finish due to the acidity. In the mouth it's light-medium in body and crisp with an acidic bite. It's refreshing and enjoyable though and through.
