16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.

Looks good in the glass. Almost clear pale straw yellow. Generous white head maintains most of the way down, leaving rings of lacing.

Slightly musty grassy aroma.

On tasting, very clean indeed. Faintly sweet, hop prescence can be found. Nice beer.

Mouth medium, finish grassy with a mild hint of pepper.

Overall, well made solid kolsch. Could enjoy drinking a six pack it on a warm summer afternoon.

Appearance: Pours a clear, pale yellow/golden color with a strong, sudsy white head. SRM of 6. (3.75)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of yeast and some sweet fruit and malts underneath. Pale malts. Somewhat buttery and malty.

Flavor: Moderate flavors of yeast, followed by European pale malts and slightly toasted bread. Somewhat metallic and dry from the toasted bread mixed with the drying yeast.

Feel: Medium to light bodied. Low carbonation. A creamy and somewhat malty finish. Creamy and smooth finish. (3.75)

Compared to Pryes Pragmatic Pils 10/8/21: Pours a simialr appearance. More malty, bready, and buttery. More authentic European malt flavors. Less hops, lemongrass, and honey. More malty overall.

Compared to Earth Rider Precious Material 11/19/21: Pours a lighter color, milder head. Stronger aromas. More bread, rustic bread yeast and salt. Less crisp

Compared to Summit Dakota Soul 2/27/22: Similar appearance, larger head. More buttery bread aromas, stronger. More metallic pale malts and yeast. Less flower and sweet bread/honey. Dryer.

Compared to New Glarus Spotted Cow 4/6/22: Pours similar, slightly darker. Milder head. Stronger aromas. More creamy bread malts. Less vinous notes. Pretty similar.

to Uetpils Skolsch 5/19/22: Pours a slightly darker color, similar head. More bready aromas. More bready yeast. Less fruity yeast, orchardfruit, citrus, and vinous notes. More metallic bread and yeast.

Overall: A pretty good Kolsch here. It nails the appearance and authentic European malt flavors. Some sweet European malty flavors. Finish is smooth. My only criticism is that it could use more fruity hops and carbonation. (Final Rating: 3.80)

16oz pounder. From the cool-azz pounder sampler pack that's only $15 at the local 'hit-a-liq'

Drank out tha can. "approachable beers..." - I'd say. Smells like green apple in the best possible way. Grainy with a crisp and mostly dry finish. Very "approachable" to the point of "lasciviousness". I love this stuff. Easy to drink, no off-flavor, the flavor there is grain, grass, and happiness

Very enjoyable and easy to drink, but sorta forgettable

Pours a light golden colour, with a frothy head that impressively lasts for a few minutes. Bubbles silently flow up as I take my first sip.

Initial taste is of grain, immediately taken over by a dry feel and some floral hops. Dry finish lasts, leaving me wanting another drink. Excellent brew!

This beer pours a very light, clear golden color. Nice carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head was minimal when poured from the can.
The nose is very minimal. Nothing offputting, just nothing there.
The taste is light. I do get a slight hop taste. I also get a slight malty taste.
Very light feeling. Crisp feeling. Not watery.
Overall not bad. Agood beer for a hot summer day, because it's easy drinking.

L-Clean and clear....great clairty...light head with nice lacing.

S-Nice maltiness with hints of breads.

T-Subtle soft grainy malt flavor...low hop impression.

F-Finishes slightly dry. Not as dry as some but just enough to keep the palate clean and looking for more.

O-Nicely done Kolsch. Maybe a bit maltier on the nose than some but I like it a lot and would love to drink more of this on a hot summer day,

Mostly clear golden yellow colored with a white head that did some settling and left some lingering lacing. Aroma was rather indistinct with a slightly yeasty and slightly malt presentation. Taste was really dry on the finish with a very extended soft big bitterness inter mingling. It begins with a soft malt flavor and then a growing hop presence holding an earthy herbal grassy quality and going to the bitterness that grew in intensity quite quickly on a very long finish.
Fullness from the carbonation otherwise I'm moderately in beer. This was really much more hot forward beer than expected and it was mostly at the finish. A decent drinker overall.
Sampled at Club 57 in Waseca.
