This beer is actually quite clear looking in the glass with a touch of haze to it. There's a bit of a white head.
I am just getting nothing on the aroma. At least it isn't off putting.
Ok, where was the aroma, when the flavor is so stong? I am getting a ton of orange flavor in this beer. There's hints of biscuit that come through in the flavor.
This beer is quite crisp and clean feeling. It feels quite refreshing.
I don't know what happened to the aroma, but the flavor and feel of the beer makes up for it.

Pretty average pale wheat, actually more like a blonde. Average and wheaty with a slight hop presence. The kind of beer you forget while drinking it

 

 

 

my first beer from these guys is a highly uneventful one. this is a real basic wheat beer, a little clearer, cleaner, and refined than a lot of them, but lacking any real defining elements and coming across a little boring, although its an easy drinker, a good hangover beer, and something that should have pretty wide appeal to it. there is absolutely zero yeast flavor to this, and its so lightly hopped that the wheat stands out as the main flavor agent, and while overall the beer is a little bland, the yeast does have some nuance, hints of honey and a fresh floral vibe, as well as providing a nice bit of body to the blonde beer. its smooth and long tasting, but has an almost lagered like finish, crisper than a lot of wheat beers are. a well enough made beer overall, but impossibly monotone and one dimensional, really unexciting stuff, just a beer as i see it. i am hoping some of the other waconia stuff is a little more inspired than this one, this is becoming a crowded market in minnesota, and i wonder how beer this simple can survive here. that said, ive been seeing this around the twin cities quite a lot, so what do i know...
