when drinking local, beers are better. I live in Carton's home town, Atlantic Highlands, and nearby Belford (both shore towns originate a fast ferry to NYC) hosts this 5 year old (today!) brewer. If their core pale ale is indicator, good things to come in this fresh flight. 30 beers on offer. I'll come back for more.
Fun place.
a) Shards of lace over pale amber body, supportive head, even in a flight shot glass.
s) better than SN. Round, malt, good grain and more hops.
t) Balanced APA - my fave style. I'd buy 24 if available.
f) great balance and finish.
o) core offering. Try 24.

From 09/13/14 notes. On tap at the brewery in Belford, NJ.
Pours a deep golden- amber color with one inch of off white head and low to moderate carbonation evident. Citrus hops, fruity malts, pale malts. Taste is lightly bitter, little bit more hops there. Medium body and low carbonation.
Overall a decent and lightly hoppy pale ale. Easy to drink and some good hops in the taste. Good start.
