The brewer calls this a "hybrid lager" with a blend of yeast-- Kölsch and Bohemian Lager. Appearance is clear amber in the wide mouth pint glass. Not much carbonation. Sweet and malty. Grainy with a strange range of flavors: sweet challah bread, apple pie, and dried pears. Overall it tastes like a weirdly malty Blonde, flabby and cereal tasting. It's an interesting concept but the icky dose of too much yeasty muck is not very drinkable. On tap at Black Sands on Haight.
