440ml can.
L: Light haze, dark gold colour with a thick, creamy head that lasts and lasts and leaves arcs of lacing.
S: Biscuit, light honey and pine needles.
T: Malt backbone then citrus & resin. Very nicely balanced. Bitterness starts light and builds to medium. Aftertaste is fresh pine.
F: Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, dry finish.
O: Refreshing, tasty and approachable. A nicely easy-going West Coast-style IPA. Good stuff.

March 2016: Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. ABV is 6%. Cloudy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and pine needles, hints of tomcat. Fairly light bodied and refreshing, well hopped throughout.

Bottle... dark amber with opalescent body and a thick off-white head... Aroma of orange pith, carmel and melon rind, exotic fruit and some resins. Flavour of marmalade and hops, fruit... bitter during all the drink, medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Fresh and hoppy.

BBE April 27, 2016 6% ABV 330 ml bottle from ales by mail
Appearance (Look) = 6%
pale yellow, quite active, head that dissipates rapidly
Smell = 24%
grapefruit/citrus
Taste = 40%
pineapple without the sweetness. very little malt. strong bitter at the end with yeast astringency. All hops with very little in the middle. Could have been more balanced on the malty side.
Mouthfeel (Feel) = 10%
dry, slightly watery
Overall = 20%
I can taste each layer of hops very well however I was hoping for a bigger beer. It seems more alcoholic than its ABV. It does grow on me a bit as I sip but I've had more exciting of this style.
